Bebop Balou
2010 Hanoverian
Hanoverian Jumper Breeder Program
Sire: Balou du Rouet (Baloubet du Rouet/Continue)
Dam: EM Favre (Walldorf/Gesandt)
Birthdate: May 24th, 2010

------------------------------------------------------

Bebop Balou was born May 24th. TOP FOAL at his AHS INSPECTION - July 2010. Chestnut colt with lots of white! Big blaze, 3 high stockings, and a sock with a special splash on his hock just for show. Super type, very leggy. Lots of movement and boy is he handsome! He's already practicing his dressage moves. Bebop is scheduled to be inspected in July. Stay tuned for more updates!

Bebop is a full sibling to Bada Bling that was top filly at her inspection in 2008. Dr. Ludwig Christmann who has been the managing breeding director in Germany thought that Bling was the "perfect package". He was impressed with her movement for a jumper foal and had this to say about Bling:

"So this is the type of movement you get nowadays when you breed jumpers. This is a top filly. You all saw her. Very good conformation, really good type, she has presence, beautiful head and neck, excellent topline, correct in her legs and excellent in her movement. So what else do you want? ... Best foal so far. This is a Jumper breeding program and Balou du Rouet is a son of Baloubet who is of course also in the Jumper breeder program. Well, it was a very good match."

Balou du Roet is already a successful competition horse at 1.50 m level who is now busy building a reputation as an outstanding breeding stallion. Balou du Rouet's sire is three-times World Cup winner and individual Olympic gold medal winner in 2004, Baloubet du Rouet. Read more...

Favulous (Fabuleux/EM Favre/Walldorf)

Top Filly at her Inspection and 3/4 sibling to Full Scoop
!

Favulous, aka Ava is a 2007 black bay Hanoverian filly by Fabuleux out of our Elite Hanoverian mare, Favre. Favre is a very versatile mare that shows good movement and jump. She scored 8's for her trot and canter and a 9 for jumping ability at her MPT. Ava's sire, Fabuleux is a class I elite stallion that scored 9, 9, 10 for his walk, trot and canter respectively. He also scored 9's for temperament and willingness to work. This is a super cross which is also seen in Kingston's Full Scoop (Fabriano/EM Favre). Ava is a 3/4 sibling to Full Scoop. Scoop has been shown this season and has gotten nothing below an 8 in gaits and has won multiple high score awards and the Region 1 AA Training Level GAIG Championships. His disposition and rideability are to die for. You can see pictures and updates on Scoop on the News Page. Ava is a super mover with the natural ability to sit and bring her shoulders up. She was used as an example at her inspection on her "built-in" half halt and how she was able to really use her hindend. She has a fabulous canter and her trot shows alot of scope and reach as well.

View her video from her AHS inspection and hear the inspectors comments. It's not the best quality because the 'nightshot' button was accidently pressed but you still get a good idea of her movement. Check it out at: http://media.putfile.com/Favulous---Hano-Inspection-2007

*** SOLD - Congratulations to Mary Wilbourn of Charleston, SC!!!***
Omni (Fair Play/Johanniter)
, aka Logan

1996 Dutch gelding by Fair Play out of a Swedish/Trakehner mare. 16.3h and big bodied. I bred and have owned this guy since birth. Because of my job, kids, and breeding operation, I do not have the time to devote to him like he needs to succeed. Logan's sire, Fair Play is by Ulft who is the sire of Olympic Ferro. His bloodlines show through in his big, powerful gaits and ability to carry. He is a forward thinking horse that has the potential to move up the levels in the right hands. Because of his forwardness, he would best suit a professional or able amateur. He is proficient at 2nd level and training 3rd level. He is very cuddlely and loves attention. No vices. Easy to catch, clip, trailer, whatever. He also stands quietly in the trailer at horse shows. Below is his resume of some of the things he has done:

=> Winner 2yo colts in-hand, Raleigh Breed show (1998)
=> Winner 3yo colts in-hand and Winner Materiale Class (undersaddle), Raleigh Breed show (1999)
=> 1st Show - Training level: 3 scores in the 70's, Reserve high score of whole show (2000)
=> Pinehurst Dressage - first in every class, High Score AA @ Training level with scores above 70 (2000)
=> 2002 - Qualified for ABIG at 1st level - I believe he was 5th or 6th in the championship AA class
=> 2003 - Debut at 2nd level - 65% Test 4 - 1st place
=> 2005 - Debut at 3rd level - 60% - 1st place

Leah (Roemer/Bengal Ruler xx)

Leah is a 1993 Dutch mare by preferent Dutch stallion Roemer. Roemer was a versatile stallion that stood at Iron Spring Farms and recently inducted into the USDF Hall of Fame. He was an international Grand Prix jumper and a Grand Prix Dressage competitor that displayed only the best in rideability and gaits. The TB in her damline brings a ideal amount of refinement and elegance that she passes to her foals. All her foals have been total eye catchers with beautiful conformation and gaits. They have been inspection winners, winners on the line and now winners in show ring (see our News). Leah is also approved MMB with the Oldenburg Verband and was the highest scoring mare of the day out of 10+ mares. She is an easy breeder and has caught on her first cycle the last two times we've bred her. She has no vices, loads quietly on a trailer, clips, ties and loves to stand to be scratched and loved.

Foals by Leah:
Wrummy: 2001 Oldenburg Filly by Wildcard (Western Star/Picard)

Rioja Reserva: 2002 Oldenburg Filly by Ruffian (Rubinstein/Inschallah)
Rio scored '9' on her gaits in the GAIC Regional Championship class in 2006 at Training Level with her AA owner.

*** SOLD *** Rioja Reserva -- Bloodlines to die for and looks that kill. She's got it all!

Rio is a very tall and elegant grey 2002 premium Oldenburg filly by the Oldenburg stallion
Ruffian and out of Dutch mare, Leah by Roemer. Ruffian is a young stallion by the late Rubinstein I out of an Inschallah mare (same bloodlines as Rohdiamont). In September 2001, he won the Materiale class for 4 and 5 year old stallions at Dressage at Devon. His first foal crop was very successful with foals winning on the line including Dressage at Devon. Rio's dam is by the infamous Dutch stallion, Roemer who not only produced top performance horses but also is becoming noted for the breeding qualities of the mares he has produced. Many stallion prospects including Hilltop's new stallion Rousseau is out of a Roemer mare. At Rio's keuring as a weanling, the inspectors of the Oldenburg Verband said that Rio was one of the nicest foals they'd seen during their tour in the US. She shows incredible movement with scope and suspension and has a most willing and lovable disposition. Currently bridled and working in-hand. Currently 16.2h, should mature 16.3-17h.
